TRIBUTES TO LAZAR
Many tributes were paid to athlete Lazar Đukić at both the beginning and completion of Event 2:
Several of the male competitors wore customised t-shirts with Lazar Đukić's name written on them in marker pen.
Victoria Campos, Chloe Gauvin-David and Julia Kato each waited on their starting mats for 60 seconds in homage to Lazar before they began their heats in Event 2.
Seher Kaya rolled up her sleeve to display "Lazar❤️" written on her arm with a marker.
And many of the competitors paid tribute by "taking the knee" at the end of their heats.
The Progrm's Moritz Fiebig paid his own tribute wearing a customised shirt and took a moment to pay homage at Lazar's starting marker before beginning the event.
